Hey, Strut- I remember watching a documentary some years ago about the dude who made the beats for Doggystyle. Daz was featured, as I remember, along with other Death Row artists. The producer talks about making "Gin and Juice." etc. Does anyone recall that? Any guidance is much appreciated.

Don't know that documentary, but the rumor was that Daz, Warren G, and Sam Sneed were doing the beats back then, and Dre was finishing them up.

I've heard that too, but this video actually showed the dude who made the beats---I want to say pretty much the whole Doggystyle album, maybe bits of Dogfood as well---and it interviews DPG dudes, like Daz, saying very matter-of-factly, as well as name dropping dude, that Dre pretty much didn't even make the beats (As I understand it, Dre always had final say so vis a vis beats). I'm not trying to prove/disprove Dre's credit, just wanted to watch the video again.
