i'm going through old things in my parents' basement and found this alternate playlist for wu-tang forever scrawled on the back of an envelope. i remember my last thots on this album were post-uni, when i was wrapping my general obsession with the "golden age". and i decided that there was a classic album in wu-tang forever. i'm listening to it now. will report back later.
but yeah, there is a gang of great wu stuff after 36 chambers.
No Hellz WInd Staff? That was always a late in the album highlight for me.
I still have a lot of time for Wu-Tang Forever. It's too long and the track ordering is all wrong but it has, to my mind, a whole heap of the strongest tracks the group ever produced.
Regarding undersung Wu-Tang albums, Cappadonna's The Pillage seems to be ignored these days despite having some great tracks on it.
