I actually did, too. I was ready to drop knowledge jewels on Darlin' and whatnot. Maybe next time.
And I have heard what Eric Burdon might call "good things...very good things" about Chicago's Mexican food vs. the rest of the country's, but I'm just gonna leave that alone.
I agree with that. Definitely like Tucson better than Phoenix, and used to spend some weekends at Hotel Congress back in the day...Liked the overall vibe of the downtown strip of Tucson.
I romantize about the desert and weather of Phoenix when I feel nostalgic about my time living there, but in reality when I lived there I complained a lot about the strip malls and vapid people.
