    Al "Purple" Hayes

Hayes' name has come up in many other credits for various aspects of production, engineering, programming, and mixing. Despite the important influence on outcomes coming from all these disciplines, Hayes was still unable to talk his clients the Barn Yard Pimps out of using Seewuthadhappenedwz for an album title.

Give a man a break: when you're working for a crew named "Barn Yard Pimps," maneuvering for a better album title is like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. Worst group name since Hyenas In The Desert. Or at least since Punk Barbarians.

But back on topic: Don't forget your man Storchaveli.

Pretty sure I read that Dam Funk was a keyboard session player during the G Funk era(no pun) for Mack 10, MC Eight, and Westside Connection.

I thought he played a lot of keyboards in addition to drum programming.

This thread made me google Anton Pukshansky which found this,

(Also) everybody was smoking weed. Everybody had really shitty weed but I had like amazing green hydroponic grown weed. A couple of times (when) I would break out my weed that would be the end of the session because they had never smoked anything like that. They would light up a blunt with this nasty brown Mexican dirt weed and I was like, ???Put that shit out. Here, smoke this???. Next thing you know, I???m like, ???Oh, my God!??? Kool G Rap is asleep on the couch and Large Professor got headphones on and is listening to records.
