used to love this show, was a formativde influence. nice to see episodes on youtube. i forgot about jools holland being involved...also, hiram bullock (RIP) late-80's rock star mugging takes me back.

    I loved this show so much, I still have old VHS tapes with some episodes on them. It's amazing to be able to watch all of the full episodes again.

    on a totally depressing note, i googled hiram bullock and he really let himself go towards the end. also, apparently he was a long-time crack abuser.

    I was spending a lot of times in the 80s/90s with some P-Funk fans and there was always this rumor of a Bootsy connection.
    Hearing Bootsy's opening lyrics in the Sanborn video about Casper the friendly ghost made me realise that this is one of those teenage mysteries I carry around with me.

    No Bootsy involvement. The 'Casper' here was a Chicago area DJ.
