Have we done this before?
Some classics are astonishingly bad. Like Phil Spector's xmas mess.
Bob Dylan? Did any one hear or buy that? Why?
Please list your guilty pleasures and true classics.
Vince Guaraldi is topping my list right now.

deck the halls with boughs of collie...
RUN-DMC FTW
Can't say this is a back to back classic, but the title track is worth the price of admission.
now I actually kind of like hearing them, although never by choice.

I just copped this on a friend's recommendation but haven't cracked it open yet. Bo Carter, Sonny Boy Williamson...looks interesting.
And while we're at it, the Academy 45 from last year (?) is pretty awesome too.
Not sure why the player isn't showing up.
Has a feel similiar to Axelrods MESSIAH lp.
Some nice big breaks and Clydie King singing on a few tracks.
A decent classical/rock fusion late 60's project.
This is also a better than average xmas jazz lp
Some vintage '66 era Richard Evans arrangements...if thats your thing.
Honorable Mentions:
"Christmas in Hollis" by RUN D.M.C.
"What Do The Lonely Do at Christmas" by Emotions
Donny Hathaway's "This Christmas"
I know these aren't albums but they always warm the soul and never get old!
