Afrika Bambaataa & Afrika Islam are recording original funk tunes these days.

Last year they recorded this tune with german Funk band The Mitghty Mocambos.

    Nice to see them still being around. I was hoping this was good. Unfortunatly it is very phonkey, in a bad way. Very carnivalesque and the perfect music to sport an afro whig to it, which one of the guys in the second video actually does. Somehow I feel quite embarrassed for them.

    I bought the Zulu Walk 7" I thought they pulled it off well, has a nice raw feel to it, where as that second track goes way of into corny territory not my cup of tea at all.

    i really wish these were just drumbraeks with bam and co doing chants over them.

    Bam & Islam must be in need of some $$$. I'm going to pretend I never saw/heard this garbage
