I love stories of the evolution of House in the UK, and how there was such a resistance to it, I had a friend from up North who stated getting into house (and out of hip hop) sometime in 87, he asked if I wanted him to send me a tape of the latest House, I couldn't believe he even asked me, I'm on some "what would I want that shit for". A year latter I'm dancing around to House myself.
I've been struggling a bit about purchasing this comp, purely based on there being so many good records around at the moment and a desire to find the actual 12's (I bought a few of them at the time) rather than having them on a comp, but I got a feeling this might be my next Juno order.

I did a house oldies set at a mate's party a couple of years ago, and I remember this going down pretty well.
