    From the email I got.

    Hi,

    This is Stacy Peralta.

This is the third email I've sent about our new film "Bones Brigade: An Autobiography" -- and the most exciting.

Today, as of right now, you can pre-order the film directly from us. I would like to make a big deal about how great the thousands of Instagram photos have been (we made a poster out of the best ones for our DVD) and I would also like to say a word of thanks to the tens of thousands of fans around the world who have downloaded and shared "The Search For Animal Chin."

But really I want to say and tell you to visit the Bones Brigade page right away -- because Tony, Lance, Mike, Cab, George and I all pulled some crazy, one-of-a-kind items out of our personal collections and made them available alongside the film on BonesBrigade.com. Stuff like trophies, signed magazines, a personally used skate deck from Tony, McGill's personal Powell Peralta jacket, hand-made scooters from Lance and more. We've priced these items on what we believe is the going market-rate because we want collectors to obtain them and not flip them on Ebay, as they are all very special skate items of significance.

When we said our web site was going to be the best place to experience the film, we meant it. Hope you find something you like and we look forward to hearing your feedback once you see the film.

ps -- The Bones Brigade reissue decks for all six guys are available on the site, too.

  • Some of the stuff seems a little odd to me. I get the high prices on signed trophies, original skateboards, etc, but $5000 to tour the warehouse with George and Stacy? That could be pretty fun, but it should be a give-a-way. It's for four people, so it's 1,250 a person, but it's still weird. It's like an escort service. I'm sure these guys have enough money already. And who makes money from the memorabilia? Is Hawk getting money for all of his trophies? I'm not trying to shit on what is a pretty cool thing, but it all seems sort of weird.

They made $25,000 just from the 50 skull and sword signed decks! That was fast. Take that purple tape!

I'd kind of like to have all of those reissue boards, but $600! Yowza.

  • They did some new colorways for Vans just recently--must have had something to do with this? Either way they are rad: http://shop.vans.com/catalog/Vans/en_US/style/qg2bbr.html?vcategoryId=SEARCH&cm_vc=SEARCH
