there must be 200+ reissues from that label that i come across very frequently.

are these reissues legit? there is no Akarma website or anything like that on the internet (at least i didn't see one)...

which releases are to avoid, which are good to own?

any info on the label or single releases would be apprechiated...

I am pretty sure they are legit. There used to be a website years ago and there would be pics of the Akarma folks with the artists working in the studio or working on the artwork for the records. They are in Italy however and they have lax copyright laws...

Their best reissues are the obscure heavy rock ones IMO...Leafhound, Toad, Groundhogs. I usually pick them up when I see them as I have never heard a poorly produced one and the artwork/packaging is always great, and always something in which an OG is difficult to obtain in the states.

thanks! i was just wondering whether they are legit as i thought it is strange that a label with such a heavyweight output has no website and stuff at all...
