FACE MELT is pleased to welcome DAVID HEARTBREAK for his Chicago debut on Friday September 14th, 2012 at Reggie???s. With accolades pouring in from the likes of Diplo, Skrillex, and Dave Nada, Heartbreak???s reputation precedes him wherever/whenever he takes the stage. A forerunner in the Moombahton genre, he has since evolved his style into an aggressive form of ???Trap??? as heard on his recent Incredible Hulk EP.

Joining the lineup for the evening is Colin Rebey better known as PHENOM. In just less than a year, Rebey has moved quickly in establishing residencies at some of the most highly populated clubs in Wicker Park, Wrigleyville, and Downtown.

Also featured will be Face Melt???s resident producer/DJ Maker. A long time fixture on Chicago???s Hip-Hop & Beat scenes, his 2012 has been filled with high profile gigs and album releases, and later this Summer he will be opening for Baauer as well as performing at North Coast Music Festival.

Rounding out the lineup is SWGGRBCK. Drawing influences from electro house, dirty dutch, moombahton, and dubstep, SWGGRBCK has showcased his talent along side a wide range of international artists such as Hardwell, Kids at the Bar, Le Castle Vania, Downlink, Cenob1te, Foreign Beggars, and Keys N Krates.

Presented by Ground Lift Media, FACE MELT is a monthly event series which showcases envelope-pushing artists on a local, national, and international level. The 2012 programming schedule includes Live Bands, Live PA sets, DJs/Turntablists, & Touring Acts spanning genres like Dubstep, Glitch, Electronic, Hip-Hop, and Beat-related. And if that???s not enough, the resident roster boasts some of Chicago???s finest talents ??? Maker (Galapagos4, Now-Again), DJ Intel (The Comeups, Platter Pirates), & DJ TREW (Ground Lift Media).
