Not his most disco tune, but one that I've played out when I've played these past few months...

you can't actually top this one in my opinion.

    LYRICS

    (evil laugh)

    Chorus:
    Awwww, Hey! walk the night
    Hey, gonna walk the night
    (repeat 4 times total)

Creeper/reeper gonna creep and walk the night
    all right--look out night
creeper got mad and angry eyes
one look from him can paralyze
resist at any time or place
creeper done slap right cross your face

    LOOK OUT
    Take care
    gonna getcha good

    Awwww, Hey! walk the night
    (repeat chorus 4 times)

Upon his lips the taste of pain
    venom kiss of love insane
he's got a rod beneath his coat
he's gonna ram right down your throat
make your grovel on the floor
spit up and scream and beg for more

    He'll whip ya good
    and strip ya down
    a hotshot
    Gotcha!!!

    (screeeeeaammm)

    come on
    lay down
    love it-love it-love it
    Take it

    Da-dit dit doy-doo
    da-dit dit doy-doo

    hey walk the night

Great song, great video - disco pathos at it's best. On the verge of being completely ridiculous but somehow it isn't.

Second video version is even better.

    From discogs:

    Dennis Parker
    Real Name:
    Wade Nichols
    Profile:
Born in in Freeport, New York, USA, the 28 October 1946.
Actor who made the most successful acting transition from porn to mainstream. He starred in numerous X-rated films including 'Take Off' before becoming 'Detective Mallory' on the ABC daytime soap opera 'The Edge of Night' (1979-84).
Committed suicide in march 1985 while suffering from A.I.D.S.
Next to his actor career in adult movies Dennis Parker also recorded one hot disco LP in 1978, the title track of which is a confirmed, soaring classic "Like An Eagle"

There's a french mock version too.

Changing the original lyric from "my toilet's trimmed with chrome" (already kinda ridiculous) to "my butt is made of stone" (?!), check.

I didnt know this was a "Gay" joint.

It's my understanding that it was a big "men's hit" before it went mainstream. The original pressing of it features an Eagle on the label, which, again as I've been told, was disco code.
