RIP Pete Cosey

Just found out that Pete Cosey passed last week at the age of 68. IMO he was one of the most underrated guitarists of the 70's and his playing on those great Miles Davis records in the mid 70's was a huge influence on me personally. Stretched my ears like whoa. He also did all the psyche guitar work on Electric Mud to keep it Strut related.

Indeed RIP...phenominal.

I did a tribute to him on the radio last week and when putting my set together said "fuck it" and played all of Prelude parts 1&2 from Agharta. Felt good to know those righteous guitar solos were out on the airwaves.

RIP to one of the greatest.
