  • I didn't watch the stream, but I caught a bit of it on our public access television channel. I was able to pass by the Convention Center afterwards and it was bedlam. There were vendors on each end of the Center selling newspapers with his face on it and homemade t-shirts and such. I never like the idea of people making money off another person's name just after they died, but they were making some big business downtown. With traffic looking absolutely ridiculous down there, Chuck Brown literally shut down DC for the last time.
