As it's Bob Moog's Birthday:
I've recently been trying to find some LP's with pure effects, not really musique concrete but early synthesizer effects.
Jean Jacques Perrey did plenty of music like that, but nothing really isolated to just effects.
I'm talking about the kind of stuff like at the start of this Jimmi Green track:
I was wondering if Teh Strut had any offerings...
Peace.

on this 2xlp im pretty sure at least one side is all synth sounds, not really musical...have to dig it out and give it a listen.
Just because you don't get it doesn't mean it's not musical.

The "effects" on this records have been sampled to death. Hearing new productions still using these is reason enough for instant dismissal.

theres other dope stuff of course, but going by the description of what youre looking for, this is right on the money.. i have collected this kinds of lps for yearz.. highly recommended.
aslo worth mentioning is the little skits on 50 foot hose. looovely bubbles n shit that alot of people have sampled, myself included. and i never get tired of hearing those.
really? i love hearing those sounds over and over lol. its like the amen braek by now, or the ESG siren, or a james brown "HUH!".. can be really dope imo. some shit is classic for a reason.
