Scammer alert: "allena70" (buying jazz from board members)

Quick head's up. Russian eBayer "allena70" who's recently been buying a ton of jazz & related just pulled the perfect crime on a friend and I. They bid up and won $480 worth of jazz. I shipped it out and heard nothing from them for months until, on last possible day, they filed a non-receipt claim. My friend was able to confirm through track-trace.com and the online russian post that indeed, the parcel was delivered at their doorstep. We entered all useful info into Paypal dispute page and again heard nothing from buyer for several weeks. The PP reps were optimistic as the claim hadn't been escalated and then on the last possible day, the buyer did escalate and we lost all the funds.

I spent an hour on the phone with the most knowledgeable/helpful PP lady ever. She confirmed that every possible red flag was there, and that after years in the dispute dept, she was as sure as i was that it was a scam. Without a signature, there was nothing they or we could do (lesson: get signatures, duh). PP launched an investigation into them but of course, can't share their findings.

Again, buyer's name is "allena70 " and I strongly suggest any/all dealers to block them NOW:

I deal with scammers on a weekly basis and very rarely go out of my way to share info like this so, I hope it helps.

Thanks -WILL
