Stanton Uberstand
Cons:
-its base is 10" wide (outer measurement) & 8.5" wide (inner measurement) which means that it will NOT fit underneath a turntable if it is placed battle-style (i.e. tonearm at the upper left corner) & it will not fit between the two turntables (with the mixer) either unless you have a really wide mixer.
-the metal rods are quite easy to bend despite the main structure being quite solid.
-no height adjustability
-moves alot
Pros:
-the interface tray is quite solid & holds the item well
Odyssey M LSTAND
Cons:
-too many loose parts
-takes too long to setup
-base is quite wide as well
-heavy
Pros:
-best height adjustability
-has clamping capability (useful in small dj booths)
Crane Pro
Cons:
-expensive
-the tray is pretty shitty. For an item like this with so much consideration for the design, the tray just isn't secure & does not stand well
Pros:
-lifetime warranty
-replaceable & upgradable parts (the creator says they will continue developing on the basic design so that there is continuity)
-solid
-fits perfectly well under either turntable, cdj's or mixers (very small base surface & versatile positioning)
-some height adjustability, good angle/slant adjustability
Comments
Cheap but a little too wobbly.
I think we have a winner.

I now have the Crane Pro.
Call that old school? I only play 16" records when I play out, I use two copies of old war time addresses
