For any NYC Strut people with a taste for female singer-songwriters who don't come in the usual flavours, the excellent Hayley Willis is in town on Friday 13th at Googie's Lounge above The Living Room at 154 Ludlow, and on the 14th at Cafe Moto, 394 Broadway (btwn Hooper & Keap), Brooklyn.

I don't know her, or anyone associated with her, but I do rate her and suggest you check her out if it sounds like it might be your kind of thing.
