What are your top picks?

I'm, in LA & I like Mozza on Melrose, but it can get a little cramped.

I need a place that I can take a woman, low key celeb, to have good convo and good wine.

    Osteria or Pizzeria? There is a wine bar 3twenty around the corner on La Brea that prices their bottles at double the wholesale cost. Which is a real good deal.

    For quality and ambience I would choose the Little Door on 3rd. Always cool.

    I live above a wine bar, but it's in Toronto. It's also mediocre, except on Thursdays when they sell oysters for a buck.
