I know the strut loves to talk Beatles. In honour of waxidermy day on the strut I would like to share the following. Anyone else care to share a solo which never made it and was lost until recently?

  • When i was drinking with the engineers who worked Steely Dan, they confided to me that the guitar solo in Peg was originally Tom Scott, sax solo. Take a listen to it and yup, that shit sounds like Tom Scott.

The guitar is cool, but the organ (?) would've made the song very saccharine imo. Glad they cut it out.
What was that? The sound of a million Beatles fans orgasming simultaneously.
