Do people here really not listen to B sides?
I know people like breaks and all like that, but still.
I usually don't know which side is the "good" side.
I like ballads, I like experimental stuff, I like stuff without breaks, I like instrumentals. I listen to both sides of 45s and 12s.

  • for the most part, souls didnt age well for me
    i still love this:

jeez it was just a thread idea.

and as someone who definitely plays b-sides and prides myself on finding songs hiding in plain sight, I STILL will occasionally play the flip of some record I've had for ages and discover a song I had previously ignored. that was the idea.

B side to "Grey Boy." I think Human Race is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better. This video is too fast btw, due to compression or the turntable it's played on.

    And I'll go with...

  • i think they eventually made it an a-side but it started as a b-side on one of their early 7" on roulette. anyway, i think their cover of the joe walsh/james gang track was fucking amazing, and the lyrics of the track itself are seriously incredible:
