Postage to Italy (suggestions needed)

I just had a dude from Italy buy close to 20 records from me. I only ship registered to Italy and usually charge $25 for 3 LPs. Any suggestions on ways I can save this dude some money on shipping. $175 is an awful lot to charge this dude but I really don't want to take any chances. Any help would be appreciated.

Charge him for registered. The total cost will be cheaper per record than when buying 3lps.

  • At the end of November and beginning of December, I received a total of four orders to Italy (two via Ebay and two via Discogs). One was sent registered. At the moment, ALL FOUR have sent me messages saying they have yet to receive their packages.

I've been shipping to Italy for twenty years and have never had a package go lost but at this point, it's becoming pretty clear that Italian post is totally corrupt. If I were you, I'd ship those records via DHL or not at all.
