So i stumbled upon a DynaKit Preamp PSA 2 this past weekend just like the one below:

Got it home and i have no idea how i should be setting it up to my Home Stereo setup :(

Ive got a Harmon Kardon 70s reciever/amp like the one below

a separate CD player and then a Sansui Turntable. So do i run the Turntaable and the CD player thru the Preamp and then run the preamp thru the Receiver?

I am obviously a bit of a novice on the higher end audio stuff...but from what i hear, these preamps can make a world of difference.

Am i doing this right, because I cant get any sound to come thru using that set up?!

  • If you are using that receiver you don't have any need for the preamp.

If you want to use it anyway, plug your turntable into it and run the line from the tape out into the receiver.

Or find a matching power amp for it. I have a separate pre and power and love the look/sound:
