With the holidays coming - a special gift for the record loving lady in your life who doesn't mind her earlobes being stretched by a "Light My Fire" single. I would be startled to find any photograph evidence that someone actually wore these.

    How popular were those Hip-Pocket records actually back in their day? I always thought they were kind of cool with their neat little picture sleeves. Never seen the earring ad or any other reference to them.

    They actually play on most regular turntables but they also made a portable especially for these:

    I don't remember ever seeing them bitd.
    In the 80s there were many sealed ones that could be bought for not too much money $5-15 I think.
    I don't know, but I am guessing their value has not increased much.

    They are pretty cheap. I just got my first one recently, signed to me from Brenton Wood. Not hanging it from my ears, though. #humblebrag
