A friend of mine while living in Brazil was once invited for a dinner that featured a roast human thigh. He didn't go but friends of his did. They said it tasted similar to horse meat but was very tough and sinewy.
While Fritz Haarmann sold some of the meat of his most likely over 2 dozen victims to a neighboring restaurant which used it for stew, he made most of his living selling cheap and hugely popular canned sausage and nobody seemed to have noticed anything unusual about the taste.
I wouldn't have any moral problem with cannibalism as long as nobody is being killed for this purpose. I would actually like the idea of providing a few meals instead of unnecessarily enlarging my carbon footprint by being burned to ashes or rotting away in a buried box.
