I was going through my folder of samples I found in the last year (I make hot rap beats) going through Soviet records. This joint i really liked, but cant tell where i took it from and if it was simply a reprint of a famous tune on a Melodiya compilation, or it was actually a Soviet band playing. Forgive my ignorance if this is like Tito Puente's most famous song or something. I do not know my Latin. Any help?

Thanks.

Sounds to me like Moondog meets some cheesy herb alpert shit bro..

  • I like them backup horn chord changes.
And cheesiness is a given with Soviet jawnz.
But id be really pissed if this was actually a Herb Alpert tune. More embarrassed actually.

I'm getting more of a Guy Lombardo goes cha-cha vibe off this.
