Are there any bad records on Music City?

I haven't heard a bad one, some generic ones, but I can't say I've heard them all. Someone with more Bay Area knowledge can probably name you some clunkers......

liked the look of this op art painting (looks screen printed or actually mass printed, cant tell. sad about the stain and the rip, but i love it anyway.

holy shit...i've had the same one for like 15 years! it was so weird to see this pop up in a finds thread! here's mine:

hmm... it appears the print must have been done on a roll and then was stretched over whatever sized stretcher needed. yours looks "skinnier" than mine. But man, it sure is cleaner!! i wonder what the story was. there were others i didnt buy because they had less cool patterns.

Book store finds from Sunday. I really like that Richard Davis one. One of the Mission: Impossible exploito LPs has a Hammond organ groove version of the Star Trek theme.

  • This is my first "finds" post and I'm excited to share my pull. I have some more pulls from this month but I'm going to only provide the one from yesterday. Kids of obscure jazz DJ that recently passed are trying to make space so they're getting rid of the collection. The stuff that I left were just as ill - I didn't want to take the whole collection so I only took 60 records. Sorry for the cellphone pics - hoping to get a high quality digital camera this Black Friday.

I'll hit you guys with the flea market hit later - about the same amount of records. Mostly soul.

I'll also hit the Record digging stories for my massive haul of 45's (over 250) for only $10 at another flea market in October.

Here's a record that I picked that I thought was rare but clearly I had no idea. This is Earl Hooker - Don't Have To Worry (BLS - 6032). It's a promotional copy. The record is currently going for $275 on Gemm.com (http://www.gemm.com/item/HOOKER,EARL/DON'T HAVE TO WORRY/GML1895867475/)
