Freedom Fry Vol. 1: The Drone That Left the Earth
Cloven Devil Recordings, CDR-003, 2010
----------------------------------------------------

1. ALAN LAMB: Last Anzac [1983]
Nice, horizontal drone from this Australian composer. Lifted from the CD that came with Halana #2, 1996.

2. AMON D????L: Somnium (Trauma) [Somnium, late 1960s]
Stoned-out communal jams from the original Krautrockers.

3. ANGUS MacLISE: Blastitude [The Invasion of Thunderbolt Pagoda, around 1968???1972]
Primitive percussion workout.

4. B.O.R.B.: Phase One [In Orbit, 1993]
Scary CT trailer noise from nutmeg addicts.

5. BARDO POND: Dom???s Lament [On the Ellipse, 2003]
A calming, floating bed of cloudy drift.

6. BOREDOMS: Super Good [Super Are, 1998]
Starts all nutso then settles into a gorgeous minimal pattern.

7. DATSUKE TOBARI: (2:08) [Till the End of the Dream, 2001]
Nice bedroom folk spatter.

8. DIRTY THREE: Turk [Sad & Dangerous, 1993]
Soundtrackian drama, almost psych.

9. THE NO-NECK BLUES BAND: Play Your Play [Intonomancy, 2003]
All-time killer that reveals the glory improvised music can reach when everything just clicks.
