I was at a record store and this was playing. I'm not super into Return to Forever's records, but the audio on this video sounded really good, the footage looked really good, and I felt inclined to stand and watch it (enough to distract me from flipping through records) for a while.
here's a taste but the whole show is on the net and i believe you can buy bootleg dvd's of it:
Talking Heads Live in Rome 1980 full show
I believe this was from something called 4 Faces of Guitar. I've never seen more than this clip. Has anyone ever seen the whole thing? Is it worth it?
Talking Heads is right up my alley! Byrne ftw
Will check out the others too
That shit is the truth.
Kewl - the whole rome show is on youtube in hq if you follow that first link.
This is also awesome, recently unearthed full concert footage from 68 - available on amazon im sure
Wish there was a DVD of this show from '69 - he does a lot of Volunteered Salvery:
Also, the Miles Electric DVD provides a nice visual to the electric period stuff based on footage from his Isle of Wight show:
there is a full show recorded of this?
Most of it, I think. I got it through Netflix. It was about 45 minutes if I recall correctly.
however I'm looking for stuff to buy that has been released on DVD officially or was Bootlegged in Asia
(I hear ?uestlove going 'HELL YEAH' somewhere)
