My ???back yard??? is an extended driveway ??? solid concrete. Looking for a creative way to build a space-efficient mini garden that is no bigger than 4??? x 3???. Was thinking about some sort of terraced pyramid shape that goes vertical that has herbs / peppers / possibly tomatoes down the sides. The main things I need are basil, cilantro, thyme, oregano, etc plus a variety of spicy peppers.
Any thoughts?
All of those grow well in pots. No need for anything too elaborate.
Started corn, tomatoes and peppers inside and moved them to this improvised cold frame a few weeks ago.
Frame only lasted one wet night, but the corn seems to be hanging on and the toms and pepps are thriving.
Planted corn seed and beans and squash and other stuff last weekend.

Last October we got dirt and filled the beds.
Planted blueberries, ferns and herbs in the shaded bed.
Winter greens in the next.
Cover crop or winter peas in the other 2.
Starting a few weeks ago:
added strawberries to the first.
Got a salad in Feb and March and have been eating chard, spinach, lettuce and broccoli steady since April.
