Right?
Looks much younger, cheeks and neck seem much too firm but maybe that's what being dead and being head over heels does to one's face. The cellphone video footage looks fairly convincing though. Reassuring to see he was still alive when they put him on that pick up truck and that he spent some long minutes gut-shot, in horrendous pain, fear and embarrassment before leaving this world.
Rot In Pestilence
His keen sense for fashion, amazon body guards and other extravagances will be sorely missed though. Somehow it almost feels like the world got a bit duller.

haha as cynical as this remark is, I totally agree! He was (one of) the last of a dying breed. Him, Mobuto, Hoxsa: these guys were like caricature dictators straight out of "Moon Over Parador" or something. Not many of these types left.

Looking at his capturers /henchmen doesn't exactly inspire one with much hope for the future of Lybia, it's all pretty yucky...

I mean, I can buy oil as the reason (I think we all can), but Ghaddafi wanting to use a gold dinar? Europe (forget the fact that the UN is the body that sanctioned military action) decides to bomb Libya, at the same time there's a rebel uprising mind you, 10 years after Ghaddafi HAS A MEETING about the gold dinar?
