Classic House Records....

Does anyone ever pick up any classic house records when out in the field. Early in my digging days I was picking up whatever I found (I was spinning a lot of house at the time) to incorporate into sets. Farley Jackmaster Funk, Jessie Saunderson etc. I know it's not most peoples cup of tea...

    i'll take 10 copies of lemon 12 @ $1 each.

  • Of course, especially because most current house music is trying to recreate that sound of the late '80s / early '90s. You might as well play the real deal.

  • any good mixes of this stuff out there for dl?

I went to Coney Island today. At least 2 House DJ sound systems set up. Good music, men in spandex, lesbians in camo. It was like the 90s.

i likes but i dont need to own the wax versions unless i was a working dj that had to come up with a classic set for old folks.

  • Bit of a house head myself love Nugroove and pre 1988 house. You kinda gotta know the genre as a high percentage of house records are crap.

I am finding in certain places the good house 12's are selling well for me
    in Australia
