The Ohio Players had SO many dope LP covers! All of their LPs on Mercury in the 70s had the sick gatefold two panel covers with dope girls and super gangster pictures of the band members. Below is the Mr. Mean artwork, one of my favorites. All folls plaese to add on to this thread with images of super gangster 1970s LP artwork. Thank you,Chan

I gotta agree - Frederick Knight and the South Side Movement weren't "gangster," they just happened to be wearing 1970's fashions!

Tommy Brown is a comedian from the Rudy Ray Moore/Wildman Steve era. Like Rudy Ray, he did do blues vocals every now and then, but I don't know if any of them are on this album.
Oops, I thought the thread was gangster lp covers, not gangster musicians with guns on the covers.
Is that the same coat that Paul Humphrey is wearing on Super Mellow?
