Just met this man and sat in on several of his sermons a few weeks ago.
Great speaker, charismatic and wonderful to talk with. It's so sad to know he died so suddenly and so young
For those that don't know Howard Creecy Jr. was the president of the SCLC, a husband, a father, and the leader of Olivet church in Atlanta. He is a direct link to the civil rights teachings of MLK and Ralph Abernathy
I shot a TV show with him about 3 weeks back that is set to air on CBS this weekend. During his sermon he made a joke about how the local news had reported his death and that he realized life is short.

he is in the show, but only in a small part, he is giving a sermon and you can see him at his fiery best.
we were in town filming a family that was part of the congregation. He was a part of the Atlanta/ civil rights scene since he was just a boy and appointed president of the SCLC just last year. such a sudden and sad loss
