Finally making good on a promise to take my lady to NY. We've got use of an apartment in Brooklyn, not far from Bedford St, and given it's been 11 years since I was last in NY / she's a first time visitor / and we generally don' have a clue where to start - we'd really appreciate some tips on where (in the general area) to find good...
1. Sushi
2. Mexican
3. Food Markets so we can do some cooking
4. Cocktails
5. Beer
6. Coffee
7. Bistros - keen on a few nice meals without dropping a wedge
8. Parks
General directions fine, but I'd be keen on some personal recommendations too.
Def wanna hit some records stores in Manhatten, but I saw the recent post on that so feel up to date on that front.
And absolutely need to sample some nightlife - so if anyone is playing out...
On that front we are in town last week of Sept / first week of Oct
Thanks in advance.
