I am a long time lurker and used to have a profile on the Strut. I have decided to emerge from the shadows and try to contribute.

What was the last rackord you bought ?
What is your favourite method of cooling off when there's no a/c?

    I live in Toronto.

A little bit of everything, but I have a soft spot for early experimental electronic albums ala Walter/Wendy Carlos, Morton Subotnick Etc.

The last record I bought was at Second Vinyl on Wellesly just as it was closing down forever. Here's a short list:
    1. Erik Satie -"Mercure" performed by Pierre Deveux and the Orchestre de Paris (vg+)
    2. The Odessa File O.S.T -sealed
    3. The Dirty Game O.S.T.- sealed
    4. Gary Burton Quartet in Concert (vg+)
    5. Karl Heinz Stockhausen Telemusik/Mixtur and Festival of Hits (vg+)
    6. The Genius of Ravi Shankar (vg+)
    7. Silver Apples of the Moon - Morton Subotnik (vg)
    8. Kosmos- Isao Tomita (vg+)
    9. Big Bird Sings! (vg)
    10. Quazar S/T (g)
    11. The Politics of Lenny Bruce. (vg+)
I got them all for a dollar a piece, I bought a green milk crate for $3.
Not so happy to see a store close, but it was the best $15.00 I ever spent.

Not as much as long toenails.

The all-powerful and all-knowing RAJ! Thanks so much for this website. It has helped me for the past 5 years to "do my homework". Without your site I would be just another mediocre music fan., flippin past all the heat looking for Iron Maiden records. Thanks RAJ!
