This is a very cool crowd-sourcing project to reconstruct a 1905 insurance map of San Francisco that is insanely detailed. This is pre-earthquake/fire S.F. we're talking about here and not all the streets have stayed the same but for those who have an affection for the City, it's a cool way to explore a ghost version of the city AND do something helpful: http://sanborn.maptcha.org
