I'm sure this thread'll be full of "meh"'s and "Jay's too old" comments, but I'm really looking forward to this album. Mike Dean and Frank Ocean? I'm excited!

Kinda stripped down, this beat leaves a lot to be desired, where are the drums? They are coming with some nice energy on the verses, dig the back and forth. Don't really see this particular cut having a lot of replay value but still look forward to hearing the rest of the LP.

I was expecting this to be awful, but it's not. In fact, by the end of the track I'd been won over. I'm quite looking forward to the rest of the album now.
Based on my fb feed, I'm the only person I know who's not loving this. Knew I'd find some other hatteurs here! Really gotta shake my head at everyone talmbout "finally, someone's bringing hip hop back!". GTFOHWTBS.
Lazy-ass beat, and as far as rappin over vocal samples, it's worked a couple times over the years, but this is not one of them.
"Kanye took a familiar sample in Otis Redding???s ???Try A Little Tenderness??? and gave it the most skillful chopping and reconstruction we???ve seen since Just Blaze put his hands on ???Super Freak??? for Hov???s Kingdom Come"
That's the journalism equivalent of this song's beat.

Hov, all things considered, I'm pretty sure you aren't going to kill anyone. What do you say we drop the act, huh?

The beat and Jay-Z's parts not so much.

Dude, why are you kissing your own sister?
Perhaps these little dudes need to hear Funk Flex go off over it in order to fully appreciate it
