I'd much rather tolerance get paid than ignorance.

I wonder if anyone is going to ask Kanye to stop dressing gay?

I can understand how "gay" and "ghetto" can become part of someone's vocabulary. I can't understand why, when it is explained that the words are inapropriate, people continue to use them.

Is it because if you stop you are admitting that you were wrong?

I think that's a lot of it. So many actions come down to this. People can justify so much in their brain. As long as you keep telling yourself it's OK you don't have to change.

True, so my question is: when are some Soulstrut people going to learn to laugh, just a little?

I wish someone like 50 would come out as gay and knock some sense into the youth of today, is that weird of me?

Yea, I've been saying "beyotch" all week with my friends 13 year old son just cause it makes us laugh. It's totally dumb and uncalled for (as Dad tells us every now and then), but it cracks us up!

Well I'm not necessarily suggesting running around screaming "faggot negros" or anything, but that's kinda what I'm getting at.

I think few people sit around and harp about the nitpicky specifics of racial harmony. I've found many people laugh at the silly stereotypes that abound about different groups of people. My girlfriend and I do it all the time and laugh about it. (We're "interracial")

Yea, plenty of sterotypes have roots in the truth, it's just knowing how to laugh at quirks and not use them to demeen (SP) people.

    if we out of soap
    we're out of luck"

Man... I don't know how new this is, but I really think Kanye might be trying to come out of the closet on this special they've been running on MTV this weekend. Saying stuff like he didn't know why he would walk this way while the other dudes in school walked a different way, talking about how he'd get mad and put his hnads on his hips like a woman and dudes would call him ... Sway is looking at him like "damn, dude, you kinda with all this talk"

Still, I gotta give dude his props for his stand against homophobia- regardless of if you agree with it or not, you gotta admit it's a very brave thing to do. I just wonder how the Hip Hop world is gonna look at him from here on. I'm sure a lot of people are gonna think it's

Co-sign Phill. I watched the interview and I could almost see the cloud over Sway's head like "wow, this dude IS gay." Sway's facial expressions were priceless.

For real I think Kanye's message was a positive one and long overdue.

That being said I think he may be gay and is just laying the gorundwork for his coming out later down the line.

I hate to jump to the conclusion that this whole thing is self-serving on Kanye's part, but really, dude hasn't given me much else to go on with his arrogant self.
