This dude's art confounded me. I seriously did not get it for a long time... It certainly looked unique, and I could always recognize it, but I certainly didn't seek it out.

Then I saw "The Seasons," at the MOMA in their atrium, and had my face melted:






From that moment on, I sought out his work voraciously, and was seriously moved by a trip to the Twombly Gallery in Houston at the Menil Collection:






The man was old, and was working at what he loved til he died... Respect to a true genius.

    Cy Twombly gallery is one of my favorite things about living in Houston, RIP.
