Welcome to the latest installment of the Happy Jazz Show sponsored by Gama Clothing .
Welcome to the July edition of the Happy Jazz show. This month we feature music from the Caribbean in the first hour and and in the second hour, Soul Jazz, Folk/Jazz and AOR / Blue eyed soul.
1st hour features many styles from plenty of Islands, kicking off with 2 cuts from Haiti and the rest of the hour divides itself between the Virgin Islands, Martinique, Guadaloupe, Trinidad, etc. Plenty of styles from Calypso to Biguine, Tumbele to Steel pan fusion. Hot music for the summer!

The second hour kicks off with a new version of Roy Ayers classic track "We live in Brooklyn Baby" by Harry Whitaker who of course provided the arrangements, etc on the original Polydor "He's Coming" release. There are new releases from Jazzman & Far Out records and an un-released UK folk/jazz band called Love of the Brave. Plus a couple more tracks from the forthcoming / released on July 4th BBE comp "Americana - Rock Your Soul" LP compiled by Mark and Zaf of Zafsmusic.
