so a long time customer of ours (who may be on this board... if so, i'm coming to chat with you when i'm out in NYC next month) initiated THREE chargebacks for approx 200$ last night. his claim is that it was an unauthorized use of his card. the thing is, we've always (for the past 3 years) used the same paypal confirmed address. twice we used his college address. of the three charges in question, two were the college addy, one was the home.now if this was an unauthorized use of his CC, then why is dude holding onto the records that were sent to his home? is fighting this a lost cause because we used his school addy?anyone trying to roll up on dude for us? he's in reading now, he'll be in philly next month.

P.S. Put in a couple polaroids of human throats or a set of knees if you want.
Sounds like a fun idea, but when paypal checks the tracking numbers won't it be suspicious that the date it lists the letter as being sent is after the chargeback was filed?
you know? shit is shady.
Saying, I got burned on a $200+ chargeback, too. Appealed but no luck. Shit is ridiculous. Chock it up to experience, every big ticket item I ship now goes out with copious tracking and insurance.
Fuk a chargeback in 2005. You hear me, Paypal????
yeah that's him.. i've got no problem putting this guy's email on blast.
ptq28@hotmail.com
if this goes on any longer, his name & address is next to be on blast..
if anyone else has received chargebacks from this clown, holler. strength in numbers.
i feel your hurt.
pm me maybe we can figure out how to get this straightened out.
we should snail mail him a bag of shit or something.
i'm leaning towards a beatdown. what's funny is that he IS on this board.. to try a scam like this on folks who 'know' each other is just plain stupid.
an IP check may help matters.
Stop being so vague and put the dude on blast!

Dear Kevin,
From time to time, a buyer who is not satisfied with merchandise they paid
for with a credit card through PayPal may file a chargeback with their
credit card company. We were recently notified that one of your buyers

T,
If it is from March you should be cool. There a 45 day limit on disputes. Or is a 'chargeback' a whole other issue?
it is true calmer heads should be making decisions. i mean his little brother could have used his account and done all this we don't know.
it seems unlikely some dude on here would do this when he can be blackballed so easily.
anyways, does anyone know about the thing hcrink mentioned a while back how you refund his money and then you dispute the refund ?
