I thought there was a post on this a few years ago but I cant see to find it. I am looking for suggestions of french hip hop, to be more specific jazz based french hip hop, any help would be greatly appreciated

basically IAM are the french wutang both in terms of scope, theme and quality solo outings (Freeman,Akhenaton,Shurik'n) the album ??cole du micro d'argent is essential, akhenaton meteque et mat as well, shurik'n has more asian samples
the double dragon production team kills it

everything released after that and by solo dudes is garbage

NTM has a good catalogue and very heavy jazz samplings in the mid 90s

First if you're looking for vinyl, please understand that any half decent french rap album is probably between $100 and $400 nowadays.
I would recommend anything produced by DJ Mehdi, any album by Fabe, Roc??, Kohndo, La Rumeur first LP and their first 3 EP. Oxmo uses a lot of jazz too but he might sound boring to some.
