    This is one of my favorite sources of inappropriate humor.

    The "I ain't a *blank* or nothin', but ... [what I'm about to say would convince you otherwise had I not prefaced it with that warning]".

    Such as ...

    I ain't a rapist or nothing, but ...
    I ain't a child molestor or nothing, but ...

    It's like saying, "I'm not a child molestor, but here is what I have in common with child molestors".

    Hey,

    "Patrick, you're not like other Black people." I always quiz by asking them what Black people are like. Of course, they never answer my question. Then, I educate them about how the Black people I know are law-abiding citizens, work hard, and want the best for their children in life. I have a Black colleague (who has a Ph.D. mind you) who was met with the "you spoke so well" comment.
