Jay Brooks is that black guy who digs indie rock, graphic novels, and dates white chicks. After a slew of bad break-ups, Jay gives up white women, "cold turkey," and he goes on a mission: "Operation Brown Sugar". But because Jay doesn't fit the "brotha" stereotype, he fails miserably with the "sistahs." Then he meets the dynamic Catherine, a misunderstood "Half-rican Canadian", who's as righteously quirky as he is. To win her heart, Jay must confront his fears as he realizes commitment is a bigger issue than race.

Plot Synopsis:
Having recently been involved in a disastrous string of relationships with white women, a hip black comic book artist must confront his own fear of commitment after vowing to exclusively date women of his own race......

    could you please explain why you are so obessed with race/hood issues?
    I've rather got the impression that there wasn`t a discussion about this topic the last few years you wasn`t an integral part of.

    I just watched the trailer...those yarn dreads the love interest has are one of the more gross trends.

    The trailer was interesting, but I clicked on the video "White Girls Better For Black Men" and it was an old Ricki Lake episode. The reasons some of these White women gave for being better for Black men are laughable. And the one Black man saying Black women are "evil"?! Crazy. Ness.

    I seen that movie. It was terrible.
    White girls are a legit top five.
    Mexican, Indian, Black, and Girls who soul strut make up the top four.
