Great list, but I'd switch Otises to Redding and change the tune to 'Never Can Say Goodbye'.

I'd also add any Piedmont style fingerpicked guitar and the laughter of either of my sons.

this is probably the first warm day in Chicago where you dont need a jacket.

on a day like this, Piedmont fingerpicked guitar sounds real good (specially if its a lazy day)

    Huh?

Were you trying to prove that it's possible to eff up even a great song like "Walk On By" or was I supposed to like that version?

    you started it.

You mean 50's guitar amp versions like Dionne Warwick, Seal, Isaac Hayes, Irene Krall, The Stranglers, JoAnn Garrett, All Of Thus, D-Train, Laura Nyro, etc. etc?

None of those were "put thru a 50's guitar amp"....actually I can't say I've ever heard a version that was "put thru a 50's guitar amp"....if you know of one please share.

    Recap of what I "started":

I state that I never get tired of hearing any version "Walk On By".

You post one of the worst versions I ever heard and asked "Even this one"?

    I say "That's pushing it".

You respond "You're effin' pushing it"

Truly one of the more bizarre exchanges I've ever had here.....unless somehow that version you posted was by you, which would then make sense.....lesson learned.
