Looking for ideas for small stereo setup in the livingroom

Just moved house. I have a mancave up in the attic but would like to have a small set up in the livingroom as well. We have a nice garden and it would be nice to sit outside and be able to play records too.

Any idea on a small simple set up with just a amplifier and a turntable? I'm looking for something to hld around a 100 records maybe. Off the floor preferably because I have two little ones running around.

I thought about a long small expedit and construct it to the wall but I guess they are not really made for hanging.

I'm sure there are some strutters who have a small set up in the livingroom so any ideas would be welcome.

I'd go active speakers on stands so as to avoid needing an amp altogether
