Hyldon "Deus, Natureza e a Musica"

Am going crazy for Hyldon right now... devouring his back catalogue...

I have his 2nd LP on vinyl "Deus, Natureza e Musica", and looking at the brazilian mp3 blogs, they seem to mention this album as being a bit of a rarity, a lost album etc with only 5000 copies pressed

It's not crazy rare is it? Saying that there's no sign of it on Popsike, eBay etc

Anyone know it's value roughly? Just out of interest, i'd never sell a record that I listen to this much

There's one in slightly better condition on Cd&Lp; for about twice that. But it's been there for a while.

btw sabadabada... the link that you sent is to a CD reissue of the album that came out a while back in Brazil...

apparently as part of the reissue 'process', Hyldon decided to remix the album from the master tapes in a terrible 90s style, and RE-RECORD some parts!?



Reminds me of when I bought ZZ Top 'Tejas' on CD one time, only to find that those crisp 70s drum-sounds had been replaced with what sounded like an Oberheim DMX... wtf... cashing in on their 80s success no doubt

I don't have this one, but his first one (Na Rua, Na Chuva, Na Fazenda) is in the Horseleech Hall Of Fame.

W/ Azymuth, and every song is killer.

Will check this. I got the Krishnanda reissue (ahem) that came out awhile ago, amazing record that makes me want to check out more brazilian stuff... I'm a novice to say the least.
