    The Hobbit is about 8 notches below LOTR on any level, so I wonder how they'll play this - closer to the book or closer to the movie trilogy. I assume they'll move it much closer to the movie trilogy.

    That's fine with me.

    Supposedly they're adding in some plotline from the lotr appendices so they can make it a 2-parter. I'm not mad. I think they're going to follow Gandalf when he leaves in the middle of the book to meet with the other wizards.
