    Were there multiple Big Maybelles?
    Maybe I am confused. There might be a record called the Last Of The Big Maybelles.

    only one Big Maybelle...Maybelle Smith, born in Memphis.

    the album "The Last of Big Maybelle" that you refer to is an LP of her last recordings, mainly made up of Rojac stuff.

    I have it too. Some strange experiments on that LP.
